We’re notifying you of upcoming SIP call media IP range and subnet changes. Without updates to your allowed IP lists and firewalls, these changes will impact your voice service.
What's changing?
Avaya Third Party Carrier is introducing a new range of media IPs to enhance our connectivity offering.
New Media IP subnet: • IP Range: 36.255.198.128/25
When is this change happening?
The changes to media IP ranges and subnets will happen in 2 phases. • Phase 1 will begin on November 5th, 2024, Avaya Carrier will initiate a soft launch of the new range for 48 hours. Approximately 10% of calls may be routed through the new range during this time.
• Phase 2 will begin on November 7th, 2024, and the new IP range will be fully available for traffic.
Customer actions required
For optimal service, please allow the new IP ranges and update your firewalls for the following subnet changes: • Add the 36.255.198.128/25 subnet.
To ensure continued service, we ask all voice customers to complete these updates before October 30th, 2024.
