Scheduled
Avaya has changed its certificate authority entity from Entrust to Sectigo. The result of this change is minor for HTTP endpoints but for SIP MTLS trunks it is impacting as the CA certs are usually manually provisioned on the SBCs. The new CA certificates must be installed on the premise or carrier SBC when MPC changes its certifcates (that are signed by the new entity SECTIGO), or there will be an outage as TLS negotiation will fail.
MPC will be updated to SECTIGO certificates during this scheduled maintenance window.
All customers who would need to update their SBC with the new CA have already been contacted. If in doubt, please contact Avaya for more details.
